The duration of outpatient care is flexible and individualized. Many clients participate for several months to a year as part of their ongoing recovery and wellness routine.

IOP requires 9–15 hours of therapy per week across multiple days, whereas Traditional OP is a lower-intensity care level requiring only 1 to 3 hours per week.
